We talk a lot about growing food and we talk a lot about consuming food. But what about all of the stuff that happens in the middle? This month’s AgBookClub pick, The Long Haul: A Trucker’s Tails of Life on the Road, was selected in hopes of learning more about an industry closely connected to agriculture and that we depend upon for nearly all of the goods we seek during trips to the store or have delivered to our front porches.
Here’s what you need to do this month:
Get the book. Buy it, borrow it, read over your neighbor’s shoulder — we don’t care. But don’t steal the book.
Read the book.
